Yaxa Nosara is a small boutique B&B motel with European inspiration located in Costa Rica. Pexl was hired to assist with a website overhaul, including the integration of a brand that was previously non-existent and lacking consistency.
We scrapped their existing website and started with a new design from the ground up. Along the way, we helped develop and inject a brand into their web presence that would be relatable to their target market.

When Yaxa approached us, their brand was non existent. There were few consistencies, if any, from font usage to color palette, photography, and beyond. We assisted with providing a simple yet elegant brand implementation which brought a feeling of solidity to the company, leaving their potential clientele with the desire to book a stay.

Yaxa’s exciting task was to enhance the look and feel of an existing boutique resort and create a brand that didn’t exist. Our aim was to elevate their website, showcasing Yaxa’s true essence to attract potential clients and boost brand awareness, ultimately leading to more bookings.
Responsive Design
Though we take all responsive design seriously, we exaggerated our efforts with Yaxa’s re-design being that we estimated the vast majority of their website traffic would be done via mobile searching.
Booking: Simplified
Due to banking constraints in Costa Rica, there are limited platforms that allow for card transactions over the internet. We helped simplify this process to ensure their booking process runs smoothly between clients and Yaxa’s bank, resulting in increased bookings.
